Printing tips
How your QR code scans every time
A few small things decide whether guests can scan the code on the first try.
Big enough
Print the code at least 3 × 3 cm. Rule of thumb: scanning distance ≈ 10 × code size. If it hangs 2 m away, make it about 20 cm.
Dark on light
A dark code on a light background. A light code on a dark background doesn't work with every phone.
Easy to see
At eye level or in the middle of the table. Glossy paper right under a lamp reflects – that makes it hard for the camera.
Print at 100%
In the print window, choose “100%” or “Actual size”, not “Fit to page”. Otherwise the sizes will be off.
Test first
Print one sheet and scan it with your phone. If it works, print the rest.
Well protected
Laminate stickers on tables or cover them with clear film. That way they can handle water and wiping.

Does the QR code expire?
No. The link sits directly in the code, with no detour through a third-party service. The code works as long as your link works – no expiry date and no subscription.
Can I change the link later?
Not with a regular QR code: the link is stored in the code for good. A new link means reprinting. That's why there's the momoscreen QR menu: the code always stays the same, and you change your menu on your phone any time.
Does it cost anything?
No. The generator is free and needs no sign-up. The momoscreen QR menu is free too: no subscription, no setup fee, all features included.
How does the Wi-Fi QR code work?
You enter the name and password of your Wi-Fi. Guests scan the code with their phone camera and connect with one tap – without typing the password. On the table tent, it fits on the back.
Can I put my logo in the QR code?
Yes. QR codes have built-in error correction, so a small logo in the middle usually does no harm. Still, scan the code once with your phone before printing.
Where does my data end up?
Not with us. Everything happens in your browser: your link, texts and logo aren't uploaded. Your draft stays saved on this device until you delete it.
