You don't need an app on the TV or any tech skills. Just your phone and a TV with an internet browser.

Make your boards
In the app, create your boards under “Menu Boards”: pick a style, add products, done. As many boards as you like.

Connect the TV
On the TV, open momoscreen.com/tv. It shows a short code, and you type it into the app. You only do this once.

Pick a Menu Board or an animated board for each TV. Switch any time you like, and the TV changes automatically.

You say how your TV hangs and how many areas the board should have. Your categories are on it right away – you only swap what should be different. Create as many boards as you like.
Horizontal: 1 area, 2 columns, 3 areas or 2×2. Vertical: 1 or 2 areas.
Step 2 · Connect the TV
Connect once – with a short code
The TV shows a short code, and you type it in on your phone. You only do this once. After that, the TV stays connected.
Stays connected
Even after a power outage. If the TV was off, turn it on and open momoscreen.com/tv again. You don't need a new code.

The TV's internet browser is all you need. You install nothing, and the TV needs no account.

In the app, create a board and choose a style and products. Then go to “TVs” and tap “Add TV”. On the TV, open momoscreen.com/tv in the internet browser: it shows a code. Type the code into the app – done. The TV shows your board and picks up changes automatically.
How do I change what the TV shows?
In the app under “TVs”, tap “Change what it shows” on the TV's card and pick a Menu Board or an animated board. The TV switches automatically. This works wherever your phone has internet.
What's the difference between a Menu Board and an animated board?
A Menu Board is one fixed board. An animated board shows several Menu Boards in turn on one TV, each for 3 to 60 seconds. It uses the boards you already have: change a board, and the animated board shows the change too.
How many TVs can I connect?
Up to 3 TVs, for example at the counter, in the window and in the dining room. Each one shows its own board. You can create as many boards as you like.
I have more than 3 TVs – does that work too?
Write to us through the contact form and tell us briefly how many TVs you have. We'll find a solution.
Do I have to type in the code every time?
No. You connect each TV only once. It stays connected, even after a power outage. If it was off, turn it on and open momoscreen.com/tv again.
Can I print the board?
The menu board is made for screens: it runs live in your TV's browser and stays up to date automatically. For paper, there's “Print menu”: it turns the same products into an A4 menu in the style of your QR menu, with a QR code. Print it yourself or take the PDF to a print shop.
What kind of TV do I need?
Any with an up-to-date internet browser: a smart TV, computer monitor or tablet. No browser on your TV? Then plug in a Fire TV Stick, Chromecast with Google TV, an Android TV box or a laptop via HDMI. You don't need an app or special hardware.
Can I use a regular computer monitor?
Yes. Connect the monitor to a PC, laptop or mini PC and open momoscreen.com/tv in its browser. Then type the code into the app, just like with a TV.
Can I use my old TV?
Yes, if it has an HDMI port. Plug in a TV stick with an up-to-date browser, for example a Fire TV Stick or Chromecast with Google TV, or connect a laptop.
Can I hang the screen upright (portrait)?
Yes, with any TV. Create a board with “Vertical” for it. In the app, tell the TV how it hangs: “Upright, turned to the right” or “Upright, turned to the left”. Then the board stands upright, even if the TV can't rotate its picture. Nothing to change on the TV itself.
Do I need a professional display?
A regular TV is enough to get started. If the screen runs for many hours every day, professional displays last longer – but you don't need one.
What does the menu board cost?
Nothing. No subscription, no setup fee, no hardware to buy. All features are included, up to 3 TVs too.
How is this different from digital signage software?
Digital signage software is usually made for images, videos and playlists: you design every slide yourself. momoscreen is made for menus: you enter products and prices once, and the board lays itself out in the style you picked. Change a price and it shows up on your TVs and in the QR menu automatically.
Do I have to reload the TV after a change?
No. The TV picks up changes automatically as long as its browser stays open. That also goes for when you pick a different board for it in the app.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The board keeps showing the last version it loaded. Once the connection is back, it picks up your changes automatically. Don't reload the page while you're offline.
Why are some products missing on the TV?
A board only shows what fits on the screen. The editor tells you below the preview when products don't fit. Then tap “Make text smaller” or choose fewer products. Still too much? Create a board with more areas, or let two boards take turns as an animated board.
Can the board show my menu in several languages?
The board shows your menu in its original language. Translations are in the QR menu. Show the QR code on the board – then every customer picks their language on their own phone.
