What Quandoo shutting down means for you
Quandoo has shut down. These are the dates that matter for you as an owner.
Last day for new reservations. Quandoo stopped taking bookings at 23:59.
Last day to export: you can download your reservations and your guest list up to and including 30 November.
Until then, you can still send questions to Quandoo support. After that, the website and app are shut down completely.

Quandoo reservations for dates after 30 September still stand. Here's how to get them into one list with all your new bookings.
You add phone bookings the same way. Then every table is in one list, wherever the booking came from.

You can also have both: if you're on a portal as well, your own link stays for everyone who wants to book with you directly.
To be honest: what momoscreen can't do
There are a few things momoscreen doesn't have. For most small restaurants they hardly matter – and for each one there's a simple way around it.
No portal that brings new guests
momoscreen makes your own channels bookable. It doesn't send you new guests from a platform.

Add your booking link to Google Maps. Guests who don't know you yet can find you there too.
No reminder before the visit
momoscreen doesn't send guests a reminder before they come.

Once you confirm, the guest gets an email with a calendar entry and a link to cancel.
No deposit, no no-show fee
momoscreen doesn't take money from guests, not even when someone doesn't turn up.

Can I bring my Quandoo reservations with me?
Yes, in two steps: export your upcoming reservations from Quandoo (according to Quandoo, you can do this up to and including 30/11/2026). Then add them in momoscreen with “Add reservation”. If you add an email address, the guest gets a confirmation with a calendar entry.
What happens to guests who've already booked through Quandoo?
Their reservation still stands, because the booking is with you. Quandoo tells guests to contact the restaurant directly with any questions. Once you've added them in momoscreen, you see every guest at a glance in your list.
Do I need to tell my guests about the switch?
Quandoo asks guests with a booking to get in touch with you directly. It's easier if you get there first: add the reservation in momoscreen and send the confirmation by email. Then your guest has the time, a calendar entry and a link to cancel. No email address? Give them a quick call.
What does momoscreen cost?
Nothing. No subscription, no fee per guest, no setup fee and no minimum term. The QR menu is included too.
How do I avoid double bookings with phone bookings?
You confirm every request yourself – nothing is fixed without you. You add phone bookings to the same list with “Add reservation”. That way, you see what's already booked that day before you say yes.
Will guests find me without a portal?
Yes, through Google Maps: with your booking link, guests book straight from your Google profile. On top of that, there's the QR code on the table, your website and Instagram.
Can I set when guests can book?
Guests can only book during your opening hours, for 1 to 20 people and up to 90 days ahead. You decide how long before closing the last reservation can be. You add larger groups or other times yourself.
Can I pause reservations?
Yes. You can switch reservations off and on again at any time. Add holidays or bank holidays under “Closed days”, and no guest can book online on those days.
Do guests need an app or an account?
No. Everything runs in the browser on their phone: scan the QR code or open the link, book, confirm the email.
Does this work in the UK and Ireland?
Yes. momoscreen runs in the browser, wherever your place is. Table booking works the same everywhere, and the Google guide applies in every country.
Can I bring my Quandoo reviews with me?
Not according to Quandoo: reviews on Quandoo can't be transferred. Your Google reviews stay – and that's exactly where you add your new booking link.
How soon can I get started?
You can turn on reservations in a few minutes; your menu takes a bit longer, depending on its size. For Google, allow a few days: Google checks new links and only shows them on verified profiles.
What happens to my guests' data?
momoscreen tidies up by itself: unconfirmed requests are deleted after 7 days, notes 30 days after the visit, and 6 months after the visit the guest data is anonymized.
