A category of its own for your lunch dishes

  • That's where you set the lunch price, e.g. cheaper than in the evening.
  • You set promo prices and “sold out” there too.
  • You don't show this category in your normal menu. So no dish appears twice.

Set it up once, use it every week

    Add your dishes

    Under Categories, ideally in a category of their own, e.g. “Comfort food specials”.

    Create a special menu

    Enter a name, e.g. “Lunch menu”, and choose: “Different every day” or “Always the same”.

    Pick the dishes

    Tap them in your categories; for the lunch menu, per weekday.

  4. 4

    Add it to your QR menu

    On the QR menu page, add it and save. The button appears at the top of your QR menu.

What is a special menu?

A small extra menu next to your normal one, put together from your products: for example a lunch menu with different dishes every day, a seasonal menu or an event menu. Guests open it with one tap at the top of your QR menu.

How do I change the dishes for next week?

Swap single dishes in the special menu, or change them under Categories. Save – guests see the new week within a minute.

Do I have to type dishes in twice?

No. You pick the dishes from your products. If a price changes or something is sold out, you change it once – the special menu follows by itself.

Which days do my guests see?

Always the whole special menu: every day that has dishes, from Monday to Sunday. Days without dishes are hidden.

Can I show several special menus at once?

Yes, up to 10. For example your lunch menu and a seasonal menu, each with its own button at the top of your QR menu.

Does a seasonal menu hide itself?

No, you do that yourself: on the QR menu page you remove the special menu and save. It stays saved, and next year you simply add it again.

Are special menus translated?

Yes. If your QR menu is in other languages, guests also see the special menu's name, note and dishes in their language. Anything not translated yet shows your original text.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Special menus are part of your free QR menu at momoscreen. No subscription, no setup fee.
