All you need is a phone or a computer.

What you get

Reservations that come in by themselves

Your guests book right in your QR menu – or from your listing on Google Maps. You get a complete request and answer with one tap.

  • Guests book around the clock

Even at night and on your day off. They're only offered times when you're open.

  • Fewer calls during the rush

No ringing between two orders, no notes next to the till. Name, time and number of guests are already there.

  • You decide

Only requests with a confirmed email address reach you. You say yes or no – and the guest gets your answer in their own language.

Set up in momoscreen

Ready in four steps

You need a menu, a QR menu and your opening hours. Your QR menu is already live? Then skip straight to step 4.

  1. In the app: “Categories”

    Add your menu

Create groups like “Coffee”, “Breakfast” or “Cakes” and use “Add product” to enter your products with prices. Descriptions are optional.

  2. In the app: “QR menu”

    Put together your QR menu

Use “Add menu item” to pick the categories your guests should see. Choose a style under “Customize design”. Then tap “Save” – only then do your guests see the changes.

  3. In the app: “QR menu” → “Share”

Share your QR code and link

Here you find “Your menu link”. Tap “Download QR Code”, print it and put it on your tables. With “Copy link” your menu goes on your website or in your Instagram bio.

  4. In the app: “Settings” → “Table reservations”

    Turn on reservations

Flip the switch. In the “Set up table reservations” window, check the “Local time of your restaurant” and use “Last reservation” to choose how long before closing guests can still book. Then tap “Turn on reservations” – from now on, “Reserve a table” shows up in your QR menu.

What momoscreen needs first

  • The address of your restaurant – street and number.
  • Your “Opening hours”: up to 3 time slots per day, days off set to “Closed”. This becomes the calendar your guests see.
  • The local time of your restaurant. It's already set to match your country; you just confirm it.
TipHoliday, public holiday or a private event? In the “Opening hours” card, tap “Add closed days”. Nobody can book on those days, and your guests see a note in the QR menu.

How a reservation works

The guest asks, you say yes

A reservation is only fixed once you confirm it. That way you stay in control of your tables – and the guest always knows where they stand.

Your guest

  1. 1

Taps “Reserve a table” in the QR menu – or the booking button on your Google listing.

  2. 2

Picks the day, time and number of guests (1 to 20). Only times when you're open are offered, in 15-minute steps and up to 90 days ahead.

  3. 3

Enters name, phone and email, plus a note like “with a pram” if they like.

  4. 4

Confirms their email address with one click. Only then does the request reach you – so there are no fake requests.

  5. 5

Gets your answer by email. If you say yes, with a calendar entry and a link to cancel.

You

  • momoscreen tells you about new requests by email and with the bell in the app.
  • “Confirm” or “Decline” – with a ready-made “Quick reply” or a few words of your own. Every answer goes to the guest as an email.
  • Under “Reservations”, the “Overview” shows your week and “Requests” shows everything still waiting for your answer.
  • A phone call or a guest at the counter? With “Add reservation” the booking goes into the same list.
  • You move the day or time? The guest gets an email automatically.
  • If a guest cancels via the link in their email, you see it in the app.

Google Maps

Book straight from Google Maps

Many guests look up your place on Google first. With your booking link, they can book right from your Google listing: the link opens your QR menu with the reservation window already open. Add it once and you're done.

Your booking link

The app hands you the right link with one tap, and the guide then takes you through Google step by step.

Is your restaurant already on Google Maps?

Option A

Yes, I already have a Business Profile

You can find your restaurant on Google Maps and you can edit your Business Profile. Important: Google only allows links on verified profiles.

  1. 1Sign in with the Google Account that your Business Profile belongs to.
  2. 2Open your profile: search for “my business” on Google Search – or tap “Business” at the bottom right of the Google Maps app.
  3. 3On Google Search, tap “Booking”. On Google Maps, first tap “Edit profile”, then “Booking”.
  4. 4Choose “Add link”, paste your booking link and tap “Save”.
  5. 5Done. Google checks new links before they show up – this can take a few days.

Option B

No – or I'm not sure

No problem. The profile is quick to create and costs nothing. After that, Google checks that your restaurant really exists.

  1. 1Check: search Google Maps for the name of your restaurant and your city.
  2. 2Your restaurant shows up? Open the listing and choose “Claim this business”, then “Manage now”. In the app, you find this under “About”.
  3. 3Nothing found? Go to business.google.com/add, choose “Add your business to Google” and follow the instructions: name, address and the other details about your restaurant.
  4. 4Choose a verification method, for example phone, text message, email or video. Google shows you what's available for you.
  5. 5As soon as your profile is verified, you get an email from Google. Then add the booking link just like in option A.

Allow a few days. The review can take up to 5 business days; a postcard with a code usually takes up to 14 days. Don't change your business name, address or category in the meantime, or the code won't work.

Bonus: menu link

Under “Edit profile” → “Business information” → “Contact” → “Menu link”, add the link to your QR menu. You get it in the same guide with “Copy menu link”. Then guests can see your current menu right on Google.

TipGoogle changes its pages now and then. If a button is called something slightly different or sits somewhere else, look for “Booking” or “Edit profile” – or check the official Google help.
