For food trucks

The food truck menu everyone in line can read.

Put one QR code on your truck, and guests read your burgers, hot dogs and prices on their phones while they wait in line. Sold-out items are crossed out automatically. You change everything from your phone.

  • Free
  • No app for guests
  • Same QR code at every stop
  • Up to 3 languages
Bun & Dog in Austin: the QR code sits next to the order window, and the menu opens on the phone.

The menu on your truck

Readable all the way to the back of the line

Nobody at the back of the line can read the chalkboard, and every new price means rewriting or reprinting. With momoscreen, a QR code goes on your truck, and if you like, a screen hangs above the order window. Change a price on your phone, and everything is up to date automatically.

Sold out

When it's gone, the whole line sees it

Out of chili dogs? Mark them as sold out on your phone inside the truck, and they're crossed out everywhere: on your guests' phones and on the screen. Nobody waits in line for nothing, and you don't have to tell every single guest “sorry, we're out.”

A faster line

By the time they reach the window, they know what they want

While they wait, guests scan the QR code and read your menu at their own pace: prices, what's on it, what's vegan. At the window they just order, and the line keeps moving.

Print stickers for your truck and the picnic tables with the free menu QR code generator.

Festivals & events

A festival menu of its own, the same sticker

At a festival you want three quick items, not your whole menu. Switch to the festival menu on your phone beforehand, and back to your regular menu afterward. The QR code on your truck stays the same, so there's nothing to reprint.

Want to show both? Then make the festival lineup a special menu with its own button at the top of your menu.

Questions & answers

What food truck owners ask

Your question isn't here? Email us at info@momoscreen.com – we're happy to help.

What does a digital menu for my food truck cost?

Nothing. The QR menu, the screen and the printed menu are free. No subscription, no setup fee.

Do my guests need an app or Wi-Fi?

No. They point the phone camera at the QR code, and the menu opens in the browser. Guests only need mobile data on their own phone.

Can my menu be in Spanish, too?

Yes. Pick up to 3 languages, and momoscreen translates your menu automatically, later changes too. Guests switch languages at the top of the menu.

Does momoscreen show my location or take orders?

No, neither. Post where you're parked today the way you always do, on Instagram for example, with the link to your menu in your bio. Guests order and pay at the window.

How do I show allergens?

Write them in the dish description, and they show up right in the menu. You can also mark dishes as vegan, vegetarian or gluten-free. For a sign on your truck, use our free allergen chart template.

Which screen works as a food truck menu board, and what if the signal drops?

Any tablet, monitor or smart TV with a web browser, upright too. If the connection drops, the last loaded menu stays on screen. Once it's back, the screen picks up your changes on its own.

Is there a free food truck menu template?

Yes: our free menu maker. Add your dishes and prices, pick one of 30 templates, then print it or save it as a PDF, no sign-up needed. With a free account, the same dishes become your QR menu.

How do guests know I'm taking a break?

Mark the days as closed in the app, for example as company vacation. Starting 7 days before, the notice shows at the very top of your menu.
