What makes bakery prices hard work

At six in the morning, every move counts. Swapping price tags shouldn't be one of them.

  1. 01

    Price tags by hand

New prices mean writing tags, swapping numbers, sticking on labels. For every bake, one by one.

  2. 02

    The sausage rolls are gone

By ten the sausage rolls are sold out, but they're still on the board. Customers ask, and you shake your head.

  3. 03

Cheaper at the end of the day

Today's bread should go before closing. The reduced price is on a note that hardly anyone sees.

  4. 04

    Seasons and lots of choice

Hot cross buns at Easter, mince pies at Christmas: the range keeps changing, and the board is already too full.

A day at the counter

Sold out, end-of-day price, new: all on the board

In the morning the sausage rolls are gone, in the evening the farmhouse loaf goes on offer, and the mince pies are back. You tap on your phone, and the menu board above the counter follows automatically.

What bakeries need

For bakeries and cake shops

A menu board that keeps up: current, easy to read and no fiddling.

  • Your TV becomes the menu board

Any screen with a browser works. If your TV doesn't have one, a stick in the HDMI port is all you need.

  • Sold out as soon as it's gone

One tap on your phone, and the bake shows struck through on the board. Customers see it while they're still in the queue.

  • End-of-day prices without notes

Just before closing, you set a promo price. The board shows the old price struck through next to it.

  • Organic, vegan, new

Tags show small icons on the board, e.g. for the organic bread or the new seasonal bake.

  • Lots of choice, several boards

Too much for one screen? Several boards take turns, or you hang up a second TV.

  • The full price list on the phone

A QR code on the board opens your QR menu with all your products. Handy for the breakfast menu in the seating area.

On paper too

For the window or to take away: the same products become a printable price list, A4 and with a QR code.
